  1. Lock out and prove it dead

    Lockout/tagout and live-dead-live testing

  2. Strip and terminate a wire

    Right hole, clockwise loop, tight screw

  3. Replace a receptacle

    Swap a worn duplex receptacle

  4. Wire a single-pole switch

    Switch the hot, ground the strap

  5. Install a GFCI

    LINE and LOAD, TEST and RESET

  6. Replace a breaker

    Main locked out, breaker swapped

  7. Fix an open neutral

    Find a lifted white and re-land it

  8. Fix reversed polarity

    Black on brass, white on silver

  9. Fix a GFCI wired backwards

    Move the panel cable to LINE

  10. Fix a dead wall light

    Re-land the switch leg
